Here's what you can expect as a volunteer with ACEing Autism:
- Meaningful relationships: Each participant is thoughtfully matched with 1-2 dedicated volunteers, ensuring that they receive the tailored support they need. By working closely with the children, you will witness firsthand the incredible progress they can make with your guidance.
- Fun Weekend Clinics: Our clinics run for one hour, following the ACEing Autism 9-step curriculum. We aim to improve hand-eye coordination, social skills, motor skills, and introduce them to the joys of lifelong exercise.
- Lasting Impact: We encourage volunteers to commit to the majority of clinics within each session and return consistently throughout the year. This commitment enables you to develop genuine bonds with the participants and truly understand the transformative power of your involvement, and you will be filled with a deep sense of fulfillment.
Your contribution will not only have a positive impact on them but will also provide you with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of autism and develop effective communication & leadership skills while spending time with individuals who may be different from you.
We are excited to welcome compassionate individuals like you into our ACEing Autism family. Together, we can create a brighter future.
