Complete Your Background Check Here

Please use this opportunity listing to complete a background check if your 18 years old or older.

• The background check is free for you and will be valid for 2 years and will apply to all volunteer opportunity listings.
• Do not complete a background check if you are under the age of 18.

DETAILS:

Please click "Respond" to pull up the background check form and follow the steps below.

1. Fill out the basic information on the first page and then press “Submit.” 
   • If you are not directed to steps 2-7 or your background check is pending for over 7 days, contact us at: programs@aceingautism.org
     
   
   
2. This should take you to the Sterling Background Check website where you will enter in the required information and press “Continue.”
3. Enter your email and create a password for your account and press “Create Account”
4. Enter your information and press “Continue”
5. Check the required boxes and sign 
6. Confirm the information and check off “Not at this time” so that ACEing pays for the background check for you. 
7. Click “Submit Order"
8. Once marked "Eligible" you will be able to respond to most opportunities.
