Welcome to ACEing Autism Sherman Oaks, CA!
We offer weekly tennis clinics for children with autism, typically running in 6–8 week clinics per session at the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Recreation Center tennis courts. Volunteers are paired with a participant—ideally for the entire session—to support their individual needs and abilities, getting to know each other, and learning tennis.
Our volunteers help make tennis accessible by creating a fun, welcoming environment and building meaningful bonds with the athletes. Neither volunteers nor athletes need prior tennis experience—just a willingness to engage, learn, and have fun!
