ACEing Autism Rockwall clinics take place at the Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium Tennis Courts in Rockwall. Volunteer opportunities for the program are listed below. To sign-up you must have:
- Completed new volunteer online training (45 mins - 1 hour) and
- Joined SportsYou (<5 mins)
What We Do
Trained Program Directors and Court Leads guide participants and their assigned volunteers through our curriculum. At the very heart, tennis is a social game that furnishes a natural opportunity to develop and reinforce skills that many children on the spectrum find a struggle: turn-taking, focus and attending, motor planning, fine and gross motor skills, and more. Our Program Directors meet athletes where they are at and progress through our curriculum at their own pace.
