Waivers & Background Check
If you haven't already done so, you will see a pop-up appear regarding the following qualifications. You will not be able to sign-up for this opportunity until these are completed:
     - Liability Waiver & Photo Release
     - Background Check (18 or older)

Please use this opportunity listing to complete a background check if your 18 years old or older.

The background check is free for you and will be valid for 2 years and will apply to all volunteer opportunity listings.Do not complete a background check if you are under the age of 18.

DETAILS:

Please click "Respond" to pull up the background check form and follow the steps below.

Fill out the basic information on the first page and then press “Submit.” If you are not directed to steps 2-7 or your background check is pending for over 7 days, contact us at: programs@aceingautism.org

This should take you to the Sterling Background Check website where you will enter in the required information and press “Continue.” Enter your email and create a password for your account and press “Create Account” Enter your information and press “Continue” Check the required boxes and sign  Confirm the information and check off “Not at this time” so that ACEing pays for the background check for you.  Click “Submit Order"Once marked "Eligible" you will be able to respond to most opportunities.

Please use this opportunity listing to complete your volunteer waivers. All volunteers are required to sign our Liability Waiver, Volunteer Agreement, and Photography Waiver. Once you sign these waivers, you will not need to sign them again.

Liability waiver: You & your parent/guardian will be required to sign our waivers. You will sign and then be asked to list your parent/guardian email address. They will receive an email with instructions on how to finish signing.

Photography waiver: You do not need to agree to this waiver in order to participant, you simply need to press "Agree" or "Do Not Agree" and either option is okay with us!

Background check: ACEing Autism will update your account with a User Tag to bypass the background check. Once this tag is added to your account, you will be able to respond to any opportunity.

Photography waiver: You do not need to agree to this waiver in order to participant, you simply need to press "Agree" or "Do Not Agree" and either option is okay with us!
